Incontinence is involuntary urine leakage. It is important to differentiate incontinence from behavioral urinary issues, such as submissive urination, lack of complete house training, or urinary tract infections.
Incontinence may occur due to a few reasons such as:
- an infection
- excessive water consumption
- a weak bladder sphincter muscle
- spinal cord damage
